Missing images, that dont exist

Plugin picks the images from database, and while getting the attachment ids, we don’t check if image is still there or not, as it’d be extremely expensive in terms of performance.

And hence while smushing, if a image is not found, we display a message, so that user can fix it ( By regenerating thumbnail ) if it was deleted accidentally, if they would like to.

This can be avoided by deleting the images directly from library instead of manually deleting it from directory.

Well, i ended up doing it my self by searching on the database, problem solved, but you might want to think about adding that functionallity on the premium version to search images referenced on the database, but that does not exist anymore…

@andresmolina, There are few plugins out there for same, but they often get pretty bad reviews.

Though if we get good amount of feature requests for the same, we might come up with something for that.

Sure, mark it as resolved.

Just to give a heads up, what you can find out there in relation to other plugins is plugins that claims they can clean up of images that are not being used. What I am talking about here is for images on database, that does not exist in a specific folder… in fact your plugin already does that.. the only thing you need to do is to allow a button saying delete this entry from database.
