    Hi there,

First of all, thanks for this amazing and useful plugin. It is a life saver for most of my academic websites.

Problem is that in one specific website I do not get to visualize content in the import menu.

    Please, take a look: https://cln.sh/15l2kqT6

This is how it should look: https://cln.sh/88L5qx2m

I’ve already turned off all my other plugins in order to find out if there is something interfering with TablePress functionality, but everything else is apparently fine.

    Any help will be welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

From what I can see, the cause for this simply is that the “Import” section is collapsed. To make it visible again, please click on the small downward-facing triangle on the very right of the section that you highlighted in red in your screenshot.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Thanks for your prompt response!

No, it is not collapsed. I’ve already tried to expand it, but it does not work at all.

This is what happens when I try to expand the section: https://cln.sh/sllTrgqg

    Hi,

Thanks for trying this! Well, it was collapsed, but it seems that there is an additional problem: A JavaScript problem is preventing the content from showing.

To find out more about that, please check if the browser’s error log console is showing any error messages. You can see that in the “Developer Tools”, available in the browser’s three-dot menu, or via right-click and choosing “Inspect” from the context menu.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hell yeah!

It is caused by a js problem in chrome. I was able to “solve” the issue by using Firefox instead, or a private window in Chrome.

Would have an advise for my chrome settings? This is what I get when I browse error log console:

    Hi @bitalicious,

thanks for trying this! Well, that’s definitely a strange error message that I haven’t really seen before.

Are you using any browser extensions or add-ons in Chrome? Can you maybe try again after turning those off?

To look into this some more, can you maybe get in touch via the green “Send us an email!” button at the bottom of https://tablepress.org/pricing/ ?

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

Thank you very much for your support.

I was able to fix it by deleting all cache and cookies. That was it.

Seriously, man, you’re the best. <3

    Hi,

great! Yes, I had a similar case (via email) where clearing the browser cache helped for an issue like this as as well ??

It seems like some important WordPress JS file was still in your browser cache.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress in the plugin directory. Thanks!
