• Hi,

Yesterday our website got disconnected from Jetpack. After reconnecting, all site statistics were gone. It seems like the statistics got reset.

The site did have a domain change late 2019 (‘events’ was repaced by ‘global’).

I’ve read some information about Blog ID’s and re-setting the correct one. I hope this might be the solution, but as I understand this can only be done by someone @ Jetpack.

I’m happy to upgrade to a paid plan (for support and other benefits), but don’t want to take any chances right now, as the data might still be available, and might not be after doing account actions like these.

Hope that you’re able to help!

    Thanks in advance,

    – Marinus

With Jetpack, your stats and subscriber information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats and subscribers were lost.

That’s what happened on your site; it previously used a different site URL, wifinowevents.com

I have fixed the issue and you should be able to get your stats and subscribers back by reconnecting to WordPress.com from the Jetpack section of your site’s Dashboard.

    Hi James,

Thanks for your quick follow up and solution! I just re-connected and see the previous statistics again.
