After installing the SendGrid WordPress plugin, WordPress notifications such as password reset notifications or subscription confirmations are missing line breaks/spacing. They read as one continuous block or run-on text.

I would also like to know what files the SendGrid plugin modifies so I can undo any changes the plugin made to my website.

    Hi @inth3moment,

    1. The ‘missing line breaks/spacing’ issue is generated by the plain text / html conversion of your emails, you can fix this by editing settings in your SendGrid account.

    2. SendGrid plugin doesn’t modify any files. The only files used by the plugin are the ones from the folder of the plugin (generated and added at the installation).

    Thank you,
    SendGrid

Can you please re-read my post? Your answer does not address what I said in my post.

I have uninstalled and removed the plugin, so your answer in 1 does not apply.

My WordPress notifications were working fine with no formatting issues prior to installing the SendGrid plugin and now, after uninstalling and removing it, they have no formatting.

Please respond to my post instead of denying that your plugin changes files, because there is no question that it does.

    Hi @inth3moment,

If you uninstalled the plugin and still having problems with formatting, it is not our plugin’s fault. Please check any other settings you have modified.

SendGrid’s plugin files are stored in this path -> ‘/wp-content/plugins/sendgrid-email-delivery-simplified’. Any other files are not modified.

    Thank you,
    SendGrid

This topic of missing line breaks isn’t really resolved.

@inth3moment, you can find a temporary fix at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/linebreaks-missing/

Hopefully they will identify a real fix going forward.
