• My entire menu is missing. I opened my site to add a post and the entire menu has vanished. I cannot add or edit anything in my site. I see the site as if I was outside WP. I can see tracking of my last posts and WP news releases in the Dashboard. I can see my profile. That’s all I can see and do. I thought it was a hosting problem but it isn’t. I thought it was a version disconnect, but it’s not. I’ve tried accessing it through other service providers, no change.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
