Missing menu Variation products

    I have used several times woocommerce but on the last 2 installs the product variation is missing on the navigation and if I try to access the product variation by url i get the message :

    Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.

    I disable all the plugins and nothing seems to work… I can provide credentials to the site for test

    Hi Pepe,

    That sounds a bit odd; Just to check – are you sure you’re logged in with an account that has an “Administrator” role? If you are, could you take a screenshot of your WordPress admin area?

    It might also be worthwhile posting a copy of your system status report here. You can find that under WooCommerce > System Status.

    Hi there,

    So it looks like you’re just not able to view nor edit your products, no matter the product type.

    I’d first try using the tool here, under WooCommerce > Status > Tools.

    Thanks for the video! I see that you successfully created a variable product.
    To be able to see it from the product url, you need to publish the product. In the video the product is set to Draft.

    The product is published but not I can’t access the product variation…

    @3pepe3 I am trying to understand the problem here, you stated you cannot edit the variation, correct? Are you trying to access the variation directly like this?

    If so, the error is correct, you would need to edit through the parent product:

    If I am incorrect, can you elaborate on what you are attempting to do?

    @3pepe3 This menu item is not something that is default for WooCommerce, it must be being added by another plugin:

    By default variations are not directly editable, they must be edited under the parent products. The error you are receiving is correct.
