• Hi everyone,
I installed wordpress on a provider premium host and the problem is I can’t find the section “mobile” I need to modify.
I noticed some problem previewing the live change of some plugin, I supposed was an corruption installation of wordpress, but I am not sure.
    What’s your opinion?
    best regards

  • There isn’t a “Mobile” section for you to use.

If you’re having issues with how a theme or plugin appears on a mobile device then you will need to finetune the CSS code to make it appear how you would like, or change any relevant options that may have been coded into the theme/plugin.

If you’re seeing error codes when viewing on a mobile device then that would be an issue with the actual theme/plugin.

But unless you have installed a specific mobile-related plugin to use, there aren’t any actual Mobile options.

    Hope this helps.

    thank you for the reply

so you mean that there are no “mobile” section on the standard wordpress panel??

on the previous installation of wordpress by another host provider I had this section in wordpress panel and it wasn’t a plugin or some extension…

    Hi wpower,

WordPress itself doesn’t have mobile settings, this usually is handled either by plugins or themes. Nowadays most WordPress themes are responsive out of the box, that means the layout of your website will adapt automatically based on the screen resolution and you usually don’t need options for that – it just works.

on the previous installation of wordpress by another host provider I had this section in wordpress panel

In case you didn’t have plugins installed at that time, then this section was very likely added by your WordPress theme.

The fact is that in other installation of wordpress there is not a plug-in for this mobile section and installing any themes don’t appears this section!?

At this point I suppose this is a function implemented with wordpress installation by the provider host…

    However thankyou for reply
