    Hello,

    I just tried your plugin, starting with textarea.

    1. Would be nice to have the option to add a text below title, to precise something
    2. Title is span. Shouldn’t it be “label” to get same layout (font) than product variations on variable product? At least, get an option to choose
    3. For thie textarea, if I change the number of rows, the result is invisible

    Kind regafrds

    Hello Mia,

    Re. textarea, it is now working. It should have been a cache issue.

    Re. the 2 others, looks like you did reply, and thus I can’t say anything

    Kind regards

    Hi @polina92 ,

    As for #1 and #2, can you give more details so we can understand you better, please? Like screenshots/screencast

    Hello,

    Here is a first illustration.

    https://snipboard.io/i3JsSL.jpg

    What you can see:

    1. row setting is at 1, and text area is wider. Why? Indeed, since working on staging site, I deactivated all caches. Maybe your plugin uses 1?

    2. On a variable product, your text title does not get the style of the woocommerce variations (see 1 and 2 vs 3 on image. I am not a Tech at all. I am testing other plugins. Others use “label” for this say ” addon title”, woocommerce use “label” for variations as well, you use “span”, which could explain why the style is not inherited nor matching the global CSS.

    3. It is impossible (?) to add an explanatory text / an instruction / a guideline between the “title” of the textarea. It could have been placeholder, but in my case (Theme = Woodmart), the inherited style makes text almost invisible

    Other image, presenting somehow what I’d like … a ” addon title” styled like variations + a visible explanatory text + a button sending to kind of “more info”

    Hoping this clarifies

    Kind regards

    Hi @polina92 ,

    Thanks for the added details.

    1). You can add this CSS via the section (shown in the screenshot below) and control as you like:
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1W5bYuzllgfekuFoRRuQg4w8g1bPhvDlZ/view?usp=drivesdk

    .yayextra-option-field-wrap {
    width: 100% !important;
    }

    2). You can give us that product page’s URL, we will check and let you know if possible to style the YayExtra item, #3 to look like the style of #1 and #2

    3). Generally, a Place holder texts should fade a little bit, but we will check and also determine the CSS to style the place holder text to be more visible as you want.

    4). Unfortunately, our plugin does not have this style, please drop our dev team a suggestion here:

    Regards,
    Bruce

    Hello Bruce,

    1. CSS don’t not seem to work. Setting of textarea is on 1 row, and visually, 5 are delivered. Big problem? No, sincerely.
    2. For 2, it’s on a staging site which is password protected. I would not mind giving you the credentials in a secure way. That said, I had not noticed this tab “customize” you just indicated via point 1, and via font size and font weight, I can manage, and it’s acceptable.
    3. Not sure that a place holder text shall fade. Better visible, especially for senior people. Further, most often, themes propose a dark or light color schemes. Fade text can be OK for dark if contrast, but for light … And for some, visibility / readility / findability matter more than aesthetics.
    4. Sometimes, developers seem to think about complicated things but not to simply efficient ones. If there was a way to add a basic text block (without any place holder) … which could become an informative paragraph , or a header , or where man could place a short code. A simple thing that would bring many additional opportunities. But I am not a Tech and maybe it’s far more difficult than I imagine.

    Kind regards

    Hello,

    I absolutely need a button with link.

    So, no need to spend time on 1 / 2 / 3. If those are of interest, you will make it happen. Chat is super time consuming. I saw no tutorial on your website. Normal?

    Cheers

    Hi @polina92 ,

    Please note that the chat is not time consuming for this sort of case which we already have going-on, so you can reach the team and they’d check things for you.

    Also, you can drop us a suggestion here for that button feature:
    https://feedbo.io/board/yayextra/

    Lastly, here you can find our detailed documentation for this plugin:

    Thank you.
