Hm, this theme was made with Jetpack’s Infinite Scroll in mind.

Since you have Jetpack installed, try enabling it at Jetpack → Settings → Writing in your site’s Dashboard under the “Theme enhancements” section.

    Thanks for your comment.

I have enabled jetpack’s infinite scroll, but this unfortunately does not change anything. Same with the option to work with a button for older posts.

Do I need with an code to add to theme enhancements as well?

Try disabling the other plugins, leaving only Jetpack enabled. See if that does the trick. Then add them back one at a time to see which one is causing the interference.

    Hi there,

The latest posts block being used on the blog page doesn’t support numbers at the bottom that’ll allow you to see older posts (pagination).

That block is intended to only display the lastest posts, not all posts..

If you wish to have a grid layout with pagination, it would require a third-party plugin like Gutenberg Post Blocks. A video demo of the plugin can be seen on Youtube here.

Alternatively, the posts page can be set up to resemble the Orvis theme demo by setting “blog” as the posts page in Settings > Reading > Posts Page. However, this won’t have a grid layout.

Installed Gutenberg and it basically solved all my blog problems. Thank you so much!

You’re welcome, I’m glad to see that you were able to achieve your goal by using a plugin. The grid layout looks awesome ??
