I recently decided to downgrade from 2.1.3 back to 2.0.10. In the process, all my pages were somehow deleted or lost. I re-upgraded back to 2.1.3 and the pages were still missing. However, the pages still exist in the MySQL database on my server, but WordPress just doesn’t seem to be able to display them either under “Manage” or in the actual website itself.

Any thoughts on how to make those pages part of the program again?

  • In your wp_posts table make sure the ‘post_status’ field is “publish” and the ‘post_type’ field is “page” for each of your pages.

You could always create a new page (Write->Page) and compare that new page to one of your old/missing pages in the database to see what’s different…

Thanks, Michael. Problem solved. I had to change ‘post_type’ from “post” to “page” for all the pages and now everything is back to normal.
