Missing Pay Later Messaging Settings

    Hi,
    Pay Later Messaging Settings are missing. I just have no them in pay pal settings. PayPal Card Processing folder also not working. There is a message:
    “Unfortunately, the card processing option is not yet available in your country.”
    I’m using PayPal Checkout. I tried to turn it off. But this doesn’t help.

    What does this mean? My shop in Czech Republic. Is this possible for customers from US or UK to have pay later option during purchase?

    Hi @handmadehome,

    Both features, Pay Later and the PayPal Card Processing are currently not available for Czech merchants.
    Merchants can generally only provide the Pay Later functionality that is available in their region: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/business/pay-later/gb/#eligibility
    So a US merchant would not be able to provide Pay in 3 to a UK customer.

    The PayPal Card Processing is an optional feature that provides a standalone credit card payment gateway with a more convenient checkout experience and additional features.
    We are currently working on our documentation to explain this feature better.
    But you can still provide credit card payments with the standard card fields that are available by default: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/integration-features/standard-card-fields/

    Thank you for the explanation! More info around plugin installation and settings would be great! It’s really difficult to figure out how plugin works because of lack of information. Now I see that all I was hoping for is not available in my region. In the results I don’t get any benefit from this plugin… just additional work to migrate from old Paypal Checkout:(

    One more question, please, where I can info about what kind of payments Czech merchants can accept?
    For example is this possible to accept American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club…?
