Missing posts

All of my past posts are gone in the Admin WP. They are still live on our site but I used to be able to see all of them in the admin and no it says “no posts”. Not sure if it happened before or after we changed the name from “Blog” to “News” or before or after I updated the recent plugins and updated to 4.0. It definitely happened in the last 2 weeks, around one of those changes. Help!
I’m afraid if I add a new post and update, it will erase all the previous posts online.
