Missing product thumbnail after cart update on iPad/Safari

Hello,
this plugin works great on Desktop (Firefox, Chrome), but on iPad (Safari) the product thumbnail in cart is missing after updating the quantity. I saw that there was another person with this problem, but since this topic is closed to new replies and the bug was not fixed, I am opening a new topic and would appreciate any help. Thanks.
