Missing recurring events option

I have the current EC and EC Pro versions, and WordPress 5.0.2. I recently gave up on the Gutenberg effort in both WP and EC by installing the classic editor in WP (classic editor plugin) and disabling blocks in EC (settings). I created a couple events today and did not see the option for a recurring events and wouldn’t know I have a weekly recurring event to support. My questions then are, is this still an option with the no-blocks configuration? Is there some settings option I missed?
