    Hi Mikko,

I’m trying to make Relevanssi work on a small Woo store, but I noticed a strange thing.

When I disable Relevanssi, searching for “RMACH” returns 8 products, searching for “RMAC” returns 8 products as well. But if I enable Relevanssi, I get 1 product (first result) when searching for “AMACH” and 8 products if I search for “AMAC”. There are 8 products in total that share AMACH in the title. There are AMACHDxx, AMACHLxx, AMACHMxx etc. so I’m a bit confused why search results are incomplete. I tried to change weights for titles, using AND / OR combinations, always rebuilding the index and I still get the same results.

EDIT: the query that is executed returns only 1 result, when I checked it in DB, it matched custom field and didn’t match the title at all. SKUs are prefixed to titles of parents, so “AMACHLxx product title” has “AMACHLxx” SKU while variations have something like AMCLXXL so these are correctly excluded.

Make sure “Keyword matching” is set to “Partial words” and not “Partial words if no matches for whole words”.
