    Is the theme made for WooCommerce? If not, that could be the reason.

    Thanks for the quick response.

    No, I don’t believe it is made for WooCommerce. It is a just a basic theme I purchased from another site. Is there any way to still add the sidebar into the shop page though?

    Yeah unfortunately if you’re using an ecommerce plugin with a theme that is not made for it, you will run into issues like this. It is possible to make your theme work with the ecommerce but may take a bit of work depending on the situation. I suggest you post this on https://jobs.wordpress.net/ so a developer can help you.

    That very well probably is the reason then, thank you! I will check on seeing what a developer could do to assist me.
