    Hi,

    I’ve recently upgraded to 3.5.2, I have Twenty Eleven Theme installed, but I don’t see my sidebar in any of my pages (other than index) or posts.
    I’ve deactivated all plugins, but that hasn’t resolved it.

    Any suggestions?

  • Were there any sidebars on pages earlier (probably no)? Are you using Twenty Eleven for the first time?

    Could you post the url of the site.

    I used Twenty Eleven about a year ago. It used to work fine. I’ve never seen this, where Pages appear as posts, and neither Pages nor Posts have the sidebar. I’m really an old beginner and I don’t play around with coding, so all I’ve done is install and use

    I do see the sidebar on your website when I checked now. It has a side bar that reads pages with links to about, real africa, the jouney continues etc, also the amazon ad to buy the book “my life my africa”.

    So I believe you are looking at your blog from a mobile/tablet screen. The 2011 theme is responsive and hence it will resize content including sidebars to suit the device. When it resizes, you will see the sidebar at the bottom of the page.

    @zuluboy005,
    I was just trying to know how that happened but it seems that my question offended you. If so, sorry for that.

    @king – will give this a try

    @krishna – no offense at all, was just trying to give as much info as possible

    @simplysaru – it only appears on the Index page. If you check all the other Pages, it’s not there

    Could you try disabling the sociable pugin, I think that could be causing an issue.

    neither Pages nor Posts have the sidebar

    this is so be design.

    to change that, for instance try using the plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/twenty-eleven-theme-extensions/
