Missing sidebar

Hello!
I just changed my theme after a long time from Parmament to Twenty-Eleven. Sadly my sidebar, crucial to my site, only shows up on the home page (set to most recent posts). It seems fine on the mobile version of my site, so it is only from laptops and desktops weirdly. I am far from an expert at this, so any help is appreciated.

I recently modified one of my sites using a Twenty Eleven child theme and needed a sidebar on my home page, which according to the Twenty Eleven theme description is possible, but the widgets always ran to the bottom of the page. I did try the twenty-eleven-theme-extensions plug-in, but it throws many notices of undefined index and has_cap was called with an argument that is deprecated since version 2.0.0! Usage of user levels by plugins and themes is deprecated. It didn’t work.
