Missing site title and tag line

  • For some reason my site isn’t displaying its site title or tag line. I think I may have lost it when I changed themes to accesspress root possibly?

    I’ve checked that the site title and tagline have been entered in general settings. I’m new to WordPress so any help would be really appreciated.

    The title and tagline are visible in twentysixteen for example when I change themes.

    Hi there.

    And apologize for late response.

    You can go to appearance > theme option > general setting.
    Scroll a bit, there is a logo setting.

    Click on dropdown menu, select the layout you want to display.
    For example you can select “image and text”
