Missing some functionality for Posts

    I have been testing this plugin as a means of moving posts between two WordPress sites, it generally looks great; but I have found two items which it does not handle properly with regards to posts in WordPress.

    First the Format type of the post is not preserved. I have some of the posts set to type: Quote. The available types which can be set the format to being: Standard | Aside | Image | Video | Quote | Link.

    Second I have one quote set as sticky, again this is not preserved.

    It looks to me like the standard RSS or even rss2 feed does not provide this information from the source site. So I am wondering is there some way to obtain and then import this information. Maybe it is something to also refer to the WordPress team as the RSS feed should include such information – any idea

    Yes, this information (the post format and “sticky” status) is not provided by the WordPress RSS feeds, so the plugin don’t know it when it adds a new post.

    Thanks, I will put a message in the WordPress forum to ask for this functionality in the feed.
