Missing some important theme & plugin php's since the 4.5.2 upgrade today
-
Greetings everyone,
I just upgraded the https://ccacdst.org blog site from 4.5.1 to 4.5.2 this evening without any problems <– I thought!
While in the admin dashboard, I thought I would check out some new themes when I realized that the “Add Theme” (wp-admin/theme-install.php) and “Install Theme” (wp-admin/theme-install.php?upload) were missing. A quick look under the Appearance menu revealed that the “Theme Editor” (wp-admin/theme-editor.php) was MIA as well.
Immediately, I thought maybe one or two of my plugins may be trying to give me a hard time since the upgrade went so smoothly. BUT, I soon discovered that the “Add Plugins” (/wp-admin/plugin-install.php) and “Plugin Editor” (wp-admin/plugin-editor.php) are MIA too . . . SHEESH!!
With regards to my Theme issues (currently using the twenty eleven theme) –should I use an ftp program to delete the active theme and upload it again? Or, are there other quick tricks I can try first before removing and re-installing the theme?
With regards to my Plugin issues, is this the results of specific plugin files not uploading properly during the upgrade process? Are there specific plugin files I should check and/or upload again?
I’m not a tech-guru like many of you, but I will do my best with your guidance. Let me know your thoughts and THANK YOU in advance for any assistance you give!
Regards,
Liv
