Missing Stylesheet

  • Hi
    First post so please bear with me.I have uploaded a new theme but the dashboard says its incomplete because the stylesheet is missing.I have tried to sort this by reloading but its still missing.Shall I simply find another one?

    Missing stylesheets are not missing; they’re in the wrong folder.
    The problem comes from the Unzip facility which creates a new Folder inside your destination folder if you’re careful. Check that you do not have
    /wp-content/themes/mynewtheme/mynewtheme/style.css etc.
    move all the files to the higher folder so you get:
    /wp-content/themes/mynewtheme/style.css
    Problem solved.

    When I try to move the files to the higher folder, it looks like the files are moving, but then I get errors…the errors say “file does not exist” on every file.
