Earlier when i Install the plugin and created 2 tables, i mistakenly deleted the second table, ever since then, my table has always been one higher than total. Is there a way to create another table abs rename it’s ID back to the deleted table ID.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

You can easily change table IDs on the table’s “Edit” screen, but then that number will be missing…
Is it really that big of a problem that a table ID was skipped?

It’s not that big of a deal , i just thought maybe it stored it somewhere in my database for it to not recognize a missing ID and jumped to the next.

Is there another in my database that i can recreate those missing ID so that next time i created another table from dashboard URL start from the next number not jumping 2 non-existing table.

    Hi,

yes, this is possible. Please go to https://www.okaztle.com/wp-admin/options.php and find the “tablepress_tables” entry. There, change the number after last_id to 0 (be careful not to change anything else!).

After that, numbers that are currently skipped will be “filled” again with tables.

My last table ID is 31 after i filled all missing ID so i changed last_id to 31 and i created new table, it worked, table 32 created, not jumped…

    Thanks allot.
