• I understand that <?php bloginfo('description'); ?> is required to show my tagline, and that a tagline needs to be present in my Optionis panel.

    So what would cause the tagline not to show up?

    Thanks for any and all help. ??

  • What theme are you using? I have five installed, and four of them show the tagline, the fifth (Manji2) does not….

    I’m using Kubrick.

    Hm. No clue then – don’t like Kubrick, never used it…. You haven’t changed anything in the css or the index.php itself, have you? It’s a fairly straightforward div nest: header, headerimg, h1, then div with class description which is where the tagline goes. I’ll install it and see what it does….

    [Edit/update: tagline shows up fine in Kubrick for me. How about reinstalling Kubrick in toto?]

    Thanks for the help, vkaryl. I’ve made some updates to many files, so it’s possible I may have done something that may be causing its invisibility.

    I was planning on changing my theme anyway once Blix comes out, but I’ll look through my files more closely and see if I can spot something out of the ordinary to avoid carrying it over. ??

    Thanks again!

    Well, good luck with it. If you figure out what it was, please post back, in case someone else has the same problem in the future!

    i have same problem. wp 1.5.2

    options->tagline update not reflected…
