    Hi everyone. So for our site incommunion.org we moved to update everything a while ago but ever since we have done new updates past 3.0 our top menu for editing etc is missing. That means once logged in there is a space at the top for the nice grey bar, but nothing appears. Everything else looks okay. I have not upgraded to the most recent yet. I tried a couple times but got failure messages. All other sites I updated past 3.0 got the editing bar and all was fine.

    Does anyone know what might be going on?

    Here is a screen shot what happens once its logged in…

    As you can see there is space for it but nothing appears.
    normally it looks like this: https://www.incommunion.org/

    Any wisdom? Your help is much appreciated! A

  • There’s a difference? Are you referring to the Admin bar?

    Yes, the admin bar that appears at the top when you are already logged in.

    Check that your theme’s footer.php file includes a call to <?php wp_footer(); ?>.

    Wow…
    Right now this is what it looks like. I do not see the <?php wp_footer(); ?>.
    You may have found it. Do I just add the bit of code somewhere?

    Try adding it just before the </body> tag.

    That did it! Thanks Esmi! :)))))))))))

    Sorry to forum people about the pastebin, i tried using it but it seemed to have failed earlier.
