Missing Upload Images Option in WP2.0

  • I’ve just installed WP2.0 via Yahoo Sm Business and then added a plug in for image uploading. When I try to upload images, it says that my path is not set correctly and I should look under WP->Options->Miscellaneous. But when I open this page, there are only 2 options to check: Track Links’ Update Times & Use legacy my-hacks.php file support. I’m confused! Am I missing something or am I looking in the wrong place to set my upload path? Please advise! Thank you!

  • That instruction (for the path) was true in the previous versions (up to 1.5.2).
    In 2.0 the image upload was moved to the Write section of the admin panel, but it goes in a different way: not as you want it bu as the script wants it ??
    I guess a lot of plugins that need that upload path won’t work with 2.0 unless they are updated.
