missing walcome mesage

To whom it may concern,
having activated the plugin, the chat works but the welcoming message does not
appear as it does in the demo example. Please, provide me with an explanation
how to add it. In the plugin’s settings, I have added the welcoming message, but it does not appear. (in the preview everything works fine, though)
