Missing welcome email

  • I didn’t get my welcome email, or my forum password email. I’ve signed up again with another user name to access this forum, but I need my API key from the welcome email – this doesn’t appear on my profile either.

    How can I get the API key?

  • No API keys come from anywhere at www.ads-software.com.

    You probably meant to go to WordPress.COM, as the akismet instructions mention, and register there?

    Thanks – I missed that difference! I thought the welcome email would be coming from .org, when I signed up for WP. Isn’t the internet wonderful? ??

    Well, no emails from WordPress.com at all – I’ve signed up twice, and used their contact form, but I can’t post on the forum for support until I get a password. I think I’ll have to abandon Akismet and try something else. ??
