The company I represent uses a website that was set up by a third-party developer, using several paid plugins. WordFence is one of the most important and most used plugins on the site; it uses a Premium account. Our website is currently being transferred to new hosting, and during the process, we found that:

    a) We are currently missing our account details for the paid plugins, and
    b) The third-party developers no longer have the relevant details on file, including the email address for whoever set up the account in the first place.

Without that email address, we can’t log into the WordFence account to ask for Premium support, even though we have the relevant license key. We’d like to recover our account details, and can demonstrate ownership of the relevant WordPress website. Who do we need to contact to regain access to the account?

Hi @plgjudah, thanks for your detailed message.

We do usually require the email address of the account holder to contact us, but if you do have enough information (including the license key and site URLs they’re registered to) that would verify ownership, I’m sure we can help you out.

To avoid posting sensitive information here on the public forums, please send the relevant details to lockout @ wordfence . com

    Thanks,
    Peter.
