• Hi there, whenever I use the automatic latest content widget in emails, when it pulls entire blog posts into the email, it removes the line space between different wordpress blocks.

So paragraphs of text will have the usual line space between them, but if I go from a paragraph of text to a block quote or photo, for example, the sections are squished together and it looks bad. This means I have to avoid using block quote and when embedding images in posts, I’m having to use dashes to force at least some space between blocks. Below is a link to what I’m talking about, between regular text and a block quote.

Would love it if the widget would pull in the text closer to the way it appears in wordpress.

    Thanks!

  • Hi!

So, If I understand correctly when your post has a paragraph block + quote block + a line break to separate the content between each block, that’s not populated correctly in the Automatic Latest Widget, correct? So the widget is removing that line break and space and it shows both blocks together one below the other.

Could you confirm this is the case?

So that is also true that when I use a line break to separate, the widget removes the line break.

But also, if the two blocks are one after another (paragraph block + quote block), it removes any white space between the blocks. Usually paragraphs are separated by a blank space, but in this case they right on top of each other as if it’s one paragraph.

    Thanks!
