Missing widget ad on home page

I have had to put my original Text widget back in the Sidebar because Easy AdSense does not seem to display the widget on the home page. Instead, it shows a mini banner ad down on the Sidebar which is cut off/only half visible. This doesn’t happen on post pages, just the home page. Messed with all of the settings, no effect. But since I had to add the Text widget back on, now on the home page there is one vertical ad in the sidebar, but on post pages there are TWO, because on post pages the plugin works correctly to display ads. I would like to continue using the plugin but at this point it’s just easier to use Text widgets with AdSense code.
