    Hi,

In Avada, you must set your options for English and Croatian separately.
Did you set your widgets for the Croatian language?

Polylang must be set as the same way of WPML as explained in the Avada’s documentation: https://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/how-to-set-different-theme-options-with-wpml/

    Hey! Thanks for quick answer!
I read what they say about the options.. i’ve done that. Does it have any connections with widgets also? Nothing’s changed.

When I click on appearance-widgets I see blog sidebar and below every tab inside i can choose: all languages or english/croatian. Like here. Everything is checked on all languages. But the problem remains the same.

    Am I missing something?

Even if I set all tabs to croatian it won’t work! (when switched to croatian) On the other side, when i check tabs to english – they appear normal in english & like i said before when I try on all lang they appear just in english.

Did you try with Avada + only Polylang with the other plugins deactivated?
    Have you still this problem?

Hey! I had One “Click Child Theme” & “Photo Gallery” (I didn’t count the Avada plugins)- I deactivated them and everything worked! Then i activated them again and all was fine! Super duper! ??

But.. I have one widget that I’m using which is called Avada:Tabs
The tabs are popular and recent. How should i translate them? The picture is below. P.S. I dont have them in strings translation in Polylang settings.

And also.. the widget i mention above and recent posts widget are displaying both post languages.. so it seems like i have two same posts (one cro, other eng) – when is english lang it should display just eng posts & when is croatian just croatian posts.

This is the post in english and you can see how I’ve already translated it into croatian https://oi63.tinypic.com/24e6zh4.jpg

I deactivated them and everything worked!

If the plugins that you have deactivated are a part of the Avada theme, you should contact them to report this conflict.
Avada supports Polylang, and as Polylang is freely available they will be able to help you.

nope. the plugins that I deactivated are one click child theme & photo gallery not avada plugins.

    Sorry it’s not clear.
Could you confirm that you problem is with the ‘Avada:Tabs’? And that when you deactivate these 2 plugins the Avada:Tabs works correctly?

    (@dianex)

    little misunderstanding. sorry.

before I even deactivated these two plugins -> “One click child theme” & “Photo Gallery” the widget sidebar on croatian lang was missing. After deactivation they showed up. So.. probbably they were causing the problem. That one is solved!

    This is another ()
Avada:Tabs widget contains two words in it: it says popular / recent. (image https://oi66.tinypic.com/2rr2fqx.jpg). So I was wondering..
if you know how should I translate these two words (or in other words.. how should I translate that widget? because it is not showed in the strings translation in polylang settings)

And then.. I could name it the third problem:
Recent posts widget and Avada:Tabs widget when I turn to croatian language are showing me posts on both languages
    here, take a look https://oi66.tinypic.com/2rr2fqx.jpg

when the page is on croatian lang it needs to display just croatian posts. not both.

thank you so much for your help!

Generally, it’s better to open a topic for only one problem, with a title which mentions the theme/plugin name and the issue. It’s easiest to help, and avoid the understandings.

    1) Avada:Tabs: Popular/Recent.
Try to translate them with the Loco Translate plugin.
The Strings translation option give you the possibilities to translate the title that you have filed yourself in the widget. It’s not the case for the your Avada:Tab widget, there isn’t a title. So this widget shouldn’t be displayed in the Strings translation option.

    2) On this screenshot https://oi63.tinypic.com/24e6zh4.jpg the title for your English and Crotian language is the same: Holland cup & winner … You didn’t translate your title in Crotian in the Croatian post.

    Thread Starter dianex

    (@dianex)

Ok, thanks. I’ll try with Loco Translate.

Actually the title is not the same (the show name remains the same but the other part of the title is different)
eng: Holland Cup & Winner Show in Amsterdam
cro: Holland Cup & Winner Show u Amsterdamu

I made a bigger change in the title. Now it’s fine.

Seems like we solved everything, thanks!:)

I’m glad. Please don’t forget to put your topic as “resolved”.
