    Hi @cocartforwc,

Thanks for reaching out to us on this forum.

We have reviewed the points you mentioned in our readme and we would like to apologise for the miss-spell and putting the incorrect link for your plugin. We will correct this and it will be reflected in the next release which will be very soon.

We really appreciate your efforts in pointing that out and helping us make our plugin better.

    Thanks,
    Team miniOrange

Thank you for responding so quickly. I will add your plugin to the CoCart plugin suggestions once it is corrected.

    Hi @sebd86 and @cocartforwc,

    Hope you are good.

We would like to inform you that our plugin’s new version has been released this week and we have made the changes in our plugin’s readme as well regarding your CoCart plugin’s description as discussed earlier.

Please have a look and if everything is good, you can add our plugin to your CoCart plugin’s suggestion list and feel free to discuss if you need more information about our plugin. You can also find detailed information on our plugin here.

Looking forward to hear further updates from you soon.

    Thanks,
    Team miniOrange

Thank you Team miniOrange. I noticed that the plugin prevents access to using CoCart by default. Any way of changing that?

    Hi @sebd86,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Yes, currently free version of our plugin only has capabilities to authenticate the default WordPress endpoints, not for third-party plugins or custom-built endpoints.

But, authentication of CoCart and other plugins endpoints are definitely supported in our Premium plans.

Please let us know if that is possible to recommend our Premium version on your plugin’s suggestion list.

You can drop an email as well to [email protected] if you want to see a demo of how our premium plugin authenticates CoCart REST APIs with top security.

    Thanks,
    Team miniOrange

What I am saying is that when activating your plugin. Access to CoCart is no longer possible without disabling the protection. It gives the impression that CoCart is not activated so the routes are not registered to use.

CoCart doesn’t require protection so it should be accessible even if a user doesn’t authenticate.

I’m sorry to say that your plugin is not something I can recommend at this time.

    Hi @sebd86,

    Thanks for your reply.

We got what you mentioned. So, yes by default our plugin protects all the REST APIs including that of CoCart and within the plugin, users always have a setting in the plugin if they want to make any APIs available for public access.

If you want, from the next release of the plugin, we can make CoCart APIs publicly accessible by default.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks,
    Team miniOrange

Yes making CoCart APIs publicly accessible by default is important so if you can release a small patch, that would be great. I will have your plugin listed shortly after it’s released.
