“MISTAPE” Plugin Error

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC in /wp-content/plugins/mistape/src/class-deco-mistape-admin.php on line 43

    I’m thinking it’s the plugin and not my server. I downloaded it from this site.

    I recommend reporting the problem at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/mistape so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    If the error is preventing you from using your site, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the /mistape/ directory. This will allow you to use your site again.

    Thanks. If it affected my site, I’d delete it. Site is fine. I installed two other spell checkers. I want to test all three to see which is best for me.
