Mixed Results

  • Hello,

    I’m editing two very similar sites, the results of the edits on the first site are perfect, unfortunately, the second site didn’t result in the desired behaviour

    In both sites, I have set the hidden elements to be visible for me only, and applied the changes everywhere

    When I login into Site #1 as a different user, it’s fine, but when I login to Site #2 as a different user, a couple of the elements are not appearing

    Site #1 – fine (see screenshot below)

    Site #2 – it’s missing the items below Dashboard, and it’s missing the WPForms menu item (see screenshot below)

    Could it be that on Site #2 the user doesn’t have some of the permissions/roles that the user on Site #1 has? For example, usually only administrators can see the “Dashboard -> Updates” item. If the user on the Site #2 is not an administrator, they won’t see “Updates” even if you don’t explicitly hide the item with this plugin.
