MLA v2.61 & Profile Builder

A quick search of the Repository returns several “Profile Builder” plugins. If you can tell me the specific plugin you are using I will investigate and try to resolve the problem. Thanks for any additional information you can provide.

David, I’m using Profile Builder Pro, https://www.cozmoslabs.com/wordpress-profile-builder/ as well as their Custom Profile Menus Add-On. Cozmolabs seems pretty professional to me, I’ve corresponded with their Support people in the past. I have spoken with Georgian Cocora, [email protected]. Both their [wppb-register] and [wppb-edit-profile] shortcodes failed after MLA v2.61 update was installed.

I’m using a dozen other plugins as well. I deactivated all of them, then started to reactivate them individually. After PB I reactivated MLA first since the update was so recent. When I saw the results, I didn’t bother testing the rest of them.

Thanks for your update and the link to your plugin. I hope you will appreciate that I cannot afford to purchase premium plugins and themes simply to provide support for my own free plugin.

I have sent an email to Georgian asking for their help. I will post an update here when I have progress to report. Thanks for your patience.

I do understand the difficulty of supporting a product when a number of players are on the field at the same time. I have respect for MLA and the time and effort you have put into it. If I can be of any help, let me know. Ed G.

I have released MLA version 2.62, which contains a fix for this recent topic:

If your symptoms are similar, it would be great if you could install the update and run a quick test to see if your problem has also been corrected. Thanks for any additional information you can supply.

v2.62 is a winner, David. Profile Builder registration and profile editor both work fine now. Thanks, your help is appreciated.

Thanks for confirming the fix. I am happy to report that Georgian generously provided a copy of the plugin for my investigation. I was able to reproduce your problem (when adding an Avatar to the registration and edit screens) and verify that my fix worked as expected.
