• I wrote this hack to provide mms input to wordpress. This is version 0.1 and has not been completly tested but does work for my first purpose; to store photos in wordpress directly from my cellphone.

To use it all you need do is place the two files wp-mms.php and mmslib.php in the home directory for WordPress. You also must have the two directories /wp-filez and /wp-photos located under your bloga€?s home directory both with write access.

Just thought I’d let ya know I became aware that users on systems where “safe mode” was enabled were encountering problems in getting the 100% complete message back to their cellphones. Thanks to the help of Jon Watson https://www.jonwatson.com/ I beleive these have been resolved. The latest version 0.43 is available from my site https://gnbi.com/blog/wp-filez/wp-mms.zip. For more information on this dropin check https://gnbi.com/blog/?p=430

thanks for the mms script, although i am having trouble configuring my phone.
i have the “message server” set to my website/wp-mms.php but when i send a message it says “unsupported content, please rewrite”

do i need to change any of the settings under the “internet profile”? im assuming that is just how my phone gets to the net

i have a sony ericsson phone and cingular
    thanks

WP-MMS is now a real WordPress 2.0 Plugin. The support site where you can download the plugin and find information instructions and support is https://gnbi.com/wp-mms/ Previous users of the dropin should load the plugin and begin to use it instead of the dropin. The plugin uses a different directory structure and does not interfere with the earlier dropin if for some reason you want to leave it active as well. The Plugin does add several features and bug corrections and therefore should be fazed in for normal use.

    hi.

i have installed this plugin and it work fine with the testfile.

Then i change my cellphone apn to the mms-server php file. now i get a “network error” when i send the mms.
