Mobile and Desktop friendly theme and ecommerce

I am thinking of building a new site in WordPress to take basic reservations and do some basic e-commerce and I have been searching but am having a hard time finding some solutions.

Maybe we can start a list of good looking and modern themes and ecommerce/shop plugins that work well on the desktop and also on modern smart phones and tablets.

All I have been able to find is WAP looking mobile commerce and themes. Everything I have found is very old school WAP looking…. not very attractive for a modern website.
