I am able to login and browse orders, categories and products, however if I go to a product page the top of the page displays a message on top and when I attempt to save I get an error on the bottom. https://pasteboard.co/9I1PJKJpop9p.png

The link on the top seems to say my site is private mode, however the link is in the context of wordpress.com (in my DB blog_public is set to 1). This site is self hosted. I am using the latest version of Woo and WP, I have tested this with multiple sites. Same issue. I have tried with a Shop Manager role and Administrator, same issue.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there @jppinto,

I understand, this is about the WooCommerce Mobile App.

Best if you contact our dedicated support team by going to “Help > Contact support” in the app.

    Hello @jppinto,

My sincere apologies for not hearing back from the mobile team. I’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot the issue further.

As a first step, I recommend checking and making sure that your Jetpack connection to WordPress.com is fully functional. You can check this by uninstalling the jetpack app and reinstalling it right back, and following the connection wizard from Jetpack to ensure it is properly connected.

Next, you can also check to ensure that you are using the latest mobile app.

Should the issue persist, try completely uninstalling the WooCommerce app and then reinstall it.

Let us know if this helps.

@ckadenge If you search for jetpack in the plugin directory you get 8 different jetpack plugins https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search/jetpack/ confusing to say the least. Which one is needed and why does this need to be installed? I consider Jetpack bloatware, I really have no use for it.

My site is an independent site, not connected to WordPress.com. I am hosting it on my own servers on a private cloud. Latest version of both WooCommerce and WordPress.

I am using the latest version of the mobile app.

    Hi @jppinto

I understand your concern about the Jetpack plugin. However, it is essential for the WooCommerce Mobile App as it connects your self-hosted site to WordPress.com’s infrastructure, enabling the mobile app to communicate with your store.

The official Jetpack plugin you need is the one developed by Automattic. Here’s the link for your convenience: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/jetpack/

Even though you regard Jetpack as bloatware, it’s necessary for the WooCommerce Mobile App to function correctly. It provides a secure connection for the mobile app to interact with your WooCommerce store. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/jetpack-setup-instructions-for-the-woocommerce-mobile-app/

If you’ve already installed the latest versions of WooCommerce, WordPress, and the mobile app, please ensure you’ve also set up Jetpack correctly. If the issue persists, please let us know so we can assist you further.

    Thanks!
