    Hello,
First off, thank you for a great plugin! We are experiencing an issue with the mobile calendar (month) view where the dots/events on any given day do not display below when clicked. We have multiple instances of the event calendar plugin and they all seem to do the same. Based on your demo page, it looks like I’m missing the <div class=”tribe-mobile-container”> but I’m not sure why. My list view works perfectly fine it just seems to be the calendar view.

    Things I’ve tried:
    1. Enabling and disabling the events calendar plugin
    2. Re-installing a fresh batch of the events calendar plugin
    3. Deactivate all plugin (except events calendar plugin)
    4. Removed all/any hooks from functions.php

    CMS / Plugin Details:
    WordPress 4.6.1
All plugins are running the latest version
    The Events Calendar Version 4.3.3
The Events Calendar PRO Version 4.3.3

One other note: I have one error in the console relating to the bootstrap datepicker but not sure if this would affect the propagation of the info on mobile.

bootstrap-datepicker.min.js?ver=3.2:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'fn' of undefined(…)

I can private message a link if necessary. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank You.

  • Hey @jasonblackdog,

Thanks for using The Events Calendar, and for the kind words about our plugin! ?? I’m happy to help. In order to help, I need a couple things from you:

-Please test for plugin AND theme conflicts by following this documentation & let me know what you find
-Can you send me a link so I can see this firsthand?

Then we can work on hopefully getting you squared away! ??

    Thanks!

    Hello @shelbelliot,
I sent you the link to our calendar via Slack direct message. I will review the documentation in the meantime. Looking forward to your feedback. Thank you for your help!

    Hey @jasonblackdog,

I’m not sure I received your message. :/ Did you send it through the make.www.ads-software.com Slack channel? If you could resend it, that would be fantastic. Please note that “shelbelliott” has two l’s and two t’s. ??

    Best,

    Hello @shelbelliott,
Yes, I sent it through the make.www.ads-software.com Slack channel. It also show’s your profile pic in the convo so I think I have the correct person :). I just resent the info and pinned the previous messages to our convo. Please let me know.

    Hey Jason,

Thanks for your patience here! I was finally able to view your site! ??

Could you try changing the template settings under Events > Settings > Display > “Default stylesheet used for events templates” (There is more about this setting in this doc here under the heading “Basic Template Settings”). Choosing “Skeleton Styles” or “Full Styles” may change something here, which would give me some more info about the root of the problem. ??

Let me know how this goes, and we can work on this from there.

    Best,

    Shelby ??

    Hi Shelby,
Thanks for reviewing. Here are my comments after switching between the two other settings.

    1. Skeleton Styles: Switching to this setting and viewing on mobile resulted in the actual event names showing up on each individual day vs. the little dots. When clicked, they take you to the single event landing page, which is okay. It basically has the same functionality as a desktop view.
    2. Full Styles: Was my current setting when I initially wrote in the support ticket. Same issue for mobile, when the small dots on the calendar view are clicked, nothing happens, no info is shown below the calendar.
    3. Tribe Events Styles: Changing to this setting has the same layout and issues as with “Full Styles”

No new errors or info were displayed in the console when switching through these. I left the “Tribe Events Styles” active to give you a different view from my initial “Full Styles” layout. Your help with this is greatly appreciated.

    Thank You,
    Jason

    Hey there!

Sorry we haven’t checked in with you lately.

Just to confirm, are you still seeing the same issue in version 4.3.5?

    Thanks!
    Geoff

    Hi again Jason,

Hope you’re well! Just wanted to check in to see where you’re at with this issue, since I know the holidays are often a busy time for us all!

If you could please let us know about the status of this thread as of 4.3.5, that would be super helpful!

Happy New Year! Yes, still experiencing the same issue with 4.3.5 although the “PRO” plugin still says 4.3.4

    Hi @shelbelliott,
Ouch, so I now have to explain this to someone else all over again? Were there any details you could provide in your research so I may pass those notes on as well? Thanks for all of your help!

    Thanks,
    Jason
