    Hello,

A forum user on my website has reported that most of the buttons which usually appear below a topic post do not display on mobile devices. They were using an iPad. I have also checked this on a smartphone, and this is correct. The ‘like’ button and others do not show. Only ‘reply’ and ‘quote’ appear to show.

Could someone please help with this? Is this a bug / glitch, or do I need to update a setting?

Here is a link to my forum: https://paranormalscholar.com/community/

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Laura

Could you please check it with the same mobile device on our official forum:

Also, please specify which mobile device you mean. We’ve tested wpForo on dozens of different mobile devices and OS’s

    Thanks for responding.

I have checked the mobile device on your official forum: only the ‘reply’ and ‘quote’ buttons display. This is the same issue as on my website’s forum.

The mobile devices which have tested this are: iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tablet and Orange Dive mobile phone.

All is correct then, if you are not logged in you should only see ‘reply’ and ‘quote’. It seems you’ve not login or something was wrong with your login. You’re checking as guest. If you see “Login” menu on top menu bar it means you’re not logged in and you can only see ‘reply’ and ‘quote’ buttons. Other buttons will be available after login.

Okay, that makes sense now. Thank you for explaining. I will pass this on to the forum user who reported the ‘issue’.

    Thanks again,
    Laura
