I’ve fixed the responsive issue (CSS mod) but should the link on the date scroll below to show the event text?

    thanks

    Hi @terry-dog,

Thanks for getting in touch! We’ve just pushed an update to version 4.2.1 of our plugins, which addresses a number of reported issues with our last release–you may wish to try installing this first to see if it addresses any lingering issues with your site display. If it doesn’t, let us know and we’ll see what we can do to assist.

    Thank you!

Thanks Caroline. Applied the update. The only thing that needs a fix now (and i’m not sure if it ever worked) is when on mobile, you click on the green dot to indicate the date has an event, it scrolls down to reveal the event below the calendar block. When you click on it, it’s not clear that anything is selected if it doesn’t move down to show the info.

    Hey Terry,

Just to understand, does clicking on the event itself not take you to the actual event? If not, then there might be a theme or plugin conflict that will need to be looked into.

    Thanks!

That’s right. Clicking on the green dot for an event on the mobile does nothing other than show the event below the cal block. So unless you manually scroll down the page, you won’t see it. It doesn’t open the actual event page.

    Hi @terry-dog,

Thanks for clarifying the issue here! This definitely does sound like some type of script conflict happening on your site. Would you be able to share a link to an affected page of your site so we can take a closer look?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Sure. have a look here: https://cheltenhamyoga-xclh.temp-dns.com/events/

    Hi @terry-dog,

Thanks for following up! I’m concerned that this may be related to one of the touch-specific scripts that’s running on your site, so I’d love it if you could run through a few steps for me to rule out some possibilities here!

First of all, please make sure you are using the latest version of our plugins. Once you’ve done that, will you please follow the steps outlined in this article? This will allow us to determine if there is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

Let’s start there and see what we find!

    Thanks Caroline

I will work through the steps. One thing i noticed in theme 2016 is that the events always display as words and these link through to the actual events pages which would would suffice. I’ve noticed too that these theme developers have the same issue on their demo which would indicate a theme conflict (https://wellspring.mikado-themes.com/events/)

    Hi @terry-dog,

Thanks for doing a bit more research–it certainly does seem like this problem is originating with the theme itself, then. Should your testing identify the theme as the culprit, you may want to try reaching out to the theme developers with your findings! Maybe they are already aware of this and have a workaround or are preparing a fix. We’d love to be able to support you directly, but the theme author will be your best bet since they are much more familiar with their code than we are.

Best of luck, and let us know if you’re able to find anything else out! Thanks again! ??

    Thank you Caroline.

I’ve advised the theme authors and they are now aware of a problem which they say is passed to their development team for a fix. Should be sorted in the next update. Thanks for your assistance though.

Glad to hear that a fix is underway here! Thanks for taking the time to get in touch with us–please don’t hesitate to reach out again if there’s anything else we can do to assist! ??
