Mobile displaying incorrectly

@cowgirly That Blue button is actually a new and intuitive option introduced by PayPal called Marketing Solutions which help you in more conversion and more sales. It look like you have activated that in Express Checkout Settings . If you dont want to use that then you can go to Wp-admin > Settings > PayPal for woocommerce > Global > and rest that setting.

About blue venmo button ,well that is mobile payment option by paypal and that shows only on mobile phone, which is not something we control but PayPal API do.

Ok thanks, I got rid of the blue button.

It’s just strange that on desktop we can have a CTA button that says “Buy Now” or whatever, while on mobile that option is gone and all we have is the standard PayPal/Venmo button (even if we don’t accept Venmo). Even if the button gave a little bit more instruction, like “Click to Purchase through PayPal” instead of just being the Paypal button with no CTA. So, that’s not something we can control? Every user of your plugin has the same issue with the checkout button on mobile vs. desktop?

Well, that is something In control of PayPal, Venmo have given a good article to understand how it works, you can read that here..

And Need to be clear that this is not an issue perhaps a feature . Moreover If you like the buttons to be more UX friendly then we have given customization options in Smart button settings, Right now you have set button as Buy now, you can change that to Pay now, also you can choose Vertical Buttons which shows more text as well.
Please different options and see which one suits your requirements.

Yes, this is exactly what I’m saying – on desktop, I have customized that button to say “Buy Now” through your Smart Button options (screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gqf7favematadlr/buynow.png?dl=0)

However, on mobile, that setting seems to have disappeared/been overruled, and it’s back to the standard, non-CTA, “PayPal/Venmo” button (screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cjm91kqzx1p3y40/paypalvenmo.png?dl=0)

It sounds like this ISN’T supposed to be the case? Are those buttons supposed to be the same on desktop AND mobile? I want them to be the same – the settings I chose in Smart Buttons settings should carry to mobile, too…

@cowgirly, Yeah, you are right, sorry for the inconvenience , those are suppose to be the same , though. I have added this to our issue and will see if there are any adjustment required on our end then we are going to get those done in our next release.
