Mobile drop down menu not opening…

    Hi, the mobile drop down menu on my website is not opening, however, the menu seems to be working fine when I’m browsing on my laptop (via google chrome).

    The only cache plugin I have is Autoptimize, which I have tried de-activating but to no avail.

    (The site uses OceanWP theme 1.8.7 and PHP version 7.4)

    Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

    There is a syntax error pertaining Jquery in WP-Includes folder.

    Have you edited anything with the core file? or anything related to Jquery?

    Just download a fresh WordPress and copy files WP-Includes folder to your website files.

    No, I didn’t edit any of the core files or anything related to Jquery.

    I have replaced the WP-includes folder with a fresh copy as you’ve mentioned, however, the drop down menu is still not opening in mobile.

    Hi,

    Try to disable all plugin and check it works or not. If it works, then enable the plugin one by one to check for a possible conflict. It should work.

    Hi. I am experiencing the same problem as well and see the same jquery errors.
    Edit: Sorry, it was my own child theme’s problem.

    The mobile menu is working fine now, the problem was with the “JQuery Smooth Scroll” plugin, which I’ve deactivated and removed.
