mobile email blog problem, help please!

  • Hello Everybody
    I’m running WordPress now and writing my post through email. If write email using any account on web based email service, like gmail, yahoo etc and send it to my secret account (on my hosting), It works just fine, the cron do the job and my post is showed up properly on my blog page.
    But,
    The problem comes when I start mobile blogging, I write email via my cellphone (GPRS), I’m using Nokia 6600. The email reach to my secret account and it’s even manage to reach my WordPress (with cron job), but It’s not showed on my blog page. It does showed up in the back-end (Manage -> Post), I even can edit it. But when I try to view it it seems that it can’t be found “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.” This is only happenned with mail I sent from my cell phone…
    How this can be happen? Any help will be highly appreciate.

  • I know this is an old post but I am getting EXACTLY the same problem. The post appears in my Manage Posts section, and any images sent appear in my wp-photos file. (Am running postie).

    But no posts appear on the blog.

    Everything works perfectly if i send from a computer email.

    Any thoughts

    I appear to have come across the cause, but not yet the problem.

    It appears that my timestamp in WOrdpress was wrong. I changed this to add an hour to match local time.

    The mobile posts were coming in an hour in the future and so were going to scheduled posts. However, this still occurs even with the right time code in wordpress.

    I have installed event calendar to allow the posts to go into a category on the main page but this is still not ideal.

    I could have a “Last hours posts” category for email posts, BUT, email from a PC works, ad email form a phone is an hour out of date so this isn’t really clear.
