• Hello,

I installed your plugin to make the header image and bottom image on my site smaller. It’s basically zoomed in like the image is still the same size as if on a desktop.

I am using Boldgrid, so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it, but i’ve read through others posts and tried different combinations of settings, but nothing seems to work.

    My website is https://www.dolancustomguitars.co.uk

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hello, @timm81,

It is probably the same issue, but could you please tell me what image exactly you are referring to?

    Cheers,

    Hi, Timm,

Well, indeed your issue is related to your theme and its CSS. To be honest, it could not have been otherwise, because our plugin only messes with the delivery of the images and not how the browsers are instructed to render them.

I wish I could have helped more!

    Takis

This is what I expectet. But thank you a lot, Takis!

    Hello, there,

Are you sure this is an Adaptive Images related problem? It sounds like a CSS issue with your theme. Perhaps you could describe it a bit more thoroughly and, if possible, give us a link to your website?

    Cheers,
    Takis

    Hello, again,

I am afraid I cannot understand what exactly the problem is. It seems that the Adaptive Images plugin is not active in your website. We can only provide support for this plugin here, I’m afraid.

Apart from that, I really think that the problem you have must be a CSS problem and you should seek it with your developer or theme provider.

    Cheers,
    Takis

    theme provider?
it’s your theme! you are the theme provider. they are in “inspirations”
every theme that have an image on header have this problem.
i wont change boldgrid plugin.. is really good!
    help me bro
    thanks a lot

    Hello, again,

I think you have made a mistake here, my friend. This is the support forum for the “Adaptive Images” plugin. This is not the forum for any theme or Boldgrid plugin!

Are you sure of what you are talking about?

    Cheers,
    Takis

    Hello,

I installed the plugin for adaptive images and I do not think it is working. However I am very new at this and may be doing something wrong. Can you check my website at https://www.island-stage.com and please e-mail me if possible at [email protected]. I need help. Thanks!

    Hello, Susan,

Thank you for reaching out to us! If I may say so, it would be advisable to not share your email in a public forum. After all we are more than happy to help anyone who needs it right here.

    Now, on to your request!

Indeed it seems that you have installed the Adaptive Images correctly, but the plugin is not working as expected. So, I have 3 questions for you

Could you please send me the results of the Print debug and the Print diagnostics buttons of the plugin settings page?

Also, are you perhaps using NginX as your web server, instead of Apache?

Lastly, is it possible that your website is behind a CDN or caching server?

    Cheers,
    Takis
