I have the widget in the footer on my website. When viewing the site on my laptop, it showed the correct temperature, 84. When viewing on mobile, it showed the temp as 62. Both mobile and laptop had been refreshed. So what’s the deal? How can that be happening? My client is asking about it and I’m wondering too.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

We have checked several times, and the mobile and desktop versions are always the same.

If you are checking the same page – there’s no other explanation then someone sees the browser’s cached version of the page.
You should empty the browser’s cache, then refresh and recheck,
or use a different browser to check if there is a difference in weather info.

But most likely – if you are comparing different pages and the weather info differs, it is a website’s cache issue. You are using a cache plugin that keeps a stored copy of the page, and depending on the settings, it refreshes the page occasionally. Therefore one page is a fresh one, and the other is cached with the past weather info.

    p.s.
Color-wise – it is a very nice implementation of the Weather Atlas Widget on your website.

HELP!! I had figured out that it was an issue with my caching plugin. But now, unfortunately, I’ve just discovered that the widget has disappeared from my site!! It still shows it in the WordPress widget but it’s not showing on my site.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I tried deactivating and then reactivating and that didn’t seem to help. I then tried adding another widget, which I’d tried before with no luck, but this time I was able to add it and then the original widget showed up again. It was like it had lost it’s connection somehow. Anyway, all is good again for now. Thanks!

    Hello,

    we have an overload issue.
That does not affect your site in any way (braking or slowing it down etc.) – besides temporarily not displaying the widget.

On the resume of our services, the widget will automatically show up.
