• Hello All

In some old PC browsers (IE 9,10, Chrome 55…) the look of the theme is the mobile theme.
is this problem known ? and is there any way to fix this?

Thanks,

Best regards,

Do you see this when you view the demo? https://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue/
If not, I would suggest deactivating your plugins to test if any are conflicting. Let me know if there’s no change!

Hey so based on your images that isn’t the mobile theme but just a theme that isn’t able to load your scripts. Means you have an error on your site preventing scripts from loading like your css files.

I did some testing using windows 7 and IE9 and I couldn’t recreate what your images show. It’s possible you need to clear your old browser cache or you have a program installed that is blocking things.

Open the site in chrome using your older browser, make sure your caching is all cleared. Then right click and click “inspect” in the popup window click on “console log” then post back here what that says.

The demo site is OK.
here’s the console :

jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.4.1:2 JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
bwg_frontend.js?ver=1.3.67:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
jquery.sumoselect.min.js?ver=3.0.2:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
jquery.mobile.js?ver=1.3.67:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
jquery.mCustomScrollbar.concat.min.js?ver=1.3.67:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
jquery.fullscreen-0.4.1.js?ver=0.4.1:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
bwg_gallery_box.js?ver=1.3.67:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
scripts.js?ver=4.9.2:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
es-widget.js?ver=4.9.1:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
es-widget-page.js?ver=4.9.1:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
plugins-min.js?ver=310:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
main.js?ver=310:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <

I haven’t been able to find a browser that recreates this. The errors you posted are vague.

I suggest deactivating your plugins one by one to test. I would start with this: photo-gallery plugin. seems to be loading an odd script.

I have already done this, but the problem is the same.

I think that the problem is due to WordPress 4.x.x and the configuration of the security in my work, because others WordPress sites have the same behaviour and for example Joomla is correct.

your demo site is OK, but it seems that is not with WordPress ?

The demo site is using the latest version of WordPress.

So you’ve tried deactivating all your plugins clearing cache? What browser extensions or firewalls are you using?

– I don’t see the wordpress version in your demo site ? in my case , it’s “<meta name=”generator” content=”WordPress 4.9.1″ />”

– Yes, I’ve deactivated all the plugins, then I’ve cleared the cache, but nothing new.
– I’ve changed the version of JQUERY (https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.2.1/jquery.min.js?ver=3.2.1′>) , it’s the same .
here’s the extensions : OneChromeAp 1.0 and Virtel WebAccess Extender 35.4

The demo uses a security plugin to hide the version of wordpress, I suggest you use the same.

What do you mean you changed the version of jQuery? Why? and what method did you use?

I’ve tried on a windows xp using chrome 49 and don’t see any issue with your scripts not loading.
