Everything works fine on desktop, but on mobile (android, I haven’t tested iPad) and on the mobile emulation in the theme settings, the menu simply displays the word MENU and does not open.

In order to remove the WordPress footer credit link from the Twenty Seventeen theme:

    1. Create a Child Theme
    2. Create this directory and (empty code) file structure inside your Child Theme:

      template-parts/footer/site-info.php

    Does that work?

    That worked!
What I really wanted to get rid of wasn’t the WordPress credit, but the whole address info listing stuff, and I was able to do that.

Thanks for the super quick help!
