Mobile Menu

  • I have read multiple topics on the menu not showing up on the athena pro theme with no answers. I am having difficulty accessing my menu on the mobile app. If you are on a computer, you see it. Can anyone help?

  • Hello, i’ve the same problem, the main menu doesn’t visible on mobile version of my site.
    I’ve the pro Athena version, and it makes at least 2 years that there’re no updates available. The support service is inexistant, but the pro theme is still distributed.

    One thing I learned on menus when viewing on mobile is that you have to touch the arrow next to the menu title. The title itself is not an active link.

    Secondly, Athena and its users appear to have been abandoned and none of us (in these related forums) have been able to get any response from the company or its principles.

    I used the plugin WP Downgrade to rollback my WordPress installation to version 5.4.4, and everything in the Athena Pro theme started working again (well, at least all the problems I noticed: the mobile menu, the Jumbotron, and the testimonials).

    Depending on what other plugins and/or other customizations you’ve made to the theme, your results may vary. If you try it you’ll probably want to backup your site first at the very least.

    This workaround probably won’t work forever, as your plug-ins, and perhaps WordPress itself, will probably stop supporting older WordPress builds at some point, but it will at least buy some time for whatever is left of SmartCat to provide a remedy, or more likely, to find another theme. For a site like mine that is basically static in perpetuity, my hope is I can ride it out for a few more years.

    I’m in the same boat with no response from Smart Cat. Jumbotron and menu do not work in mobile. Icon callout links stopped working as well. Rolling back to 5.4.4 as @brentplater suggested worked. Thank you. Looks like a new theme is in store for us.
